Learn AI With Me

AI isn't going anywhere, and honestly, neither am I. I spent a long time assuming these tools were for programmers and tech people, not for someone like me. Turns out that's not true. AI can help you plan a trip, write an email you've been putting off, figure out what to pack, or even just think through a decision when you're stuck. You don't need to be technical. You just need someone to show you where to start.

That's what this page is for. I'm not here to talk you into anything or make you feel behind. I'm here to walk through what's actually useful, in plain language, the way I'd explain it to a friend over coffee.

A few prompts to get you started:

These are simple enough to copy, paste, and adjust for your own life. No special software, no learning curve. Just open ChatGPT or whatever AI tool you're using and try one.

"I'm a woman in my 40s packing for a five day trip to [destination] in [season]. Help me build a capsule wardrobe of 8 to 10 pieces that all mix and match, work for both daytime sightseeing and one nicer dinner, and can be packed in a carry-on. Give me the list broken into tops, bottoms, and one layering piece, along with a couple of outfit combinations."

"I'm a tenant dealing with a maintenance issue that hasn't been fixed in two weeks, and I need to email my landlord about it. Write a polite but firm email that states the issue clearly, references how long it's been outstanding, and asks for a specific timeline for repair. Keep it under 150 words."

"I have chicken, rice, and vegetables in my fridge and about 30 minutes to cook dinner for myself. Give me three different dinner ideas using those ingredients, each with a short list of steps I can follow without a recipe card in front of me."

"I'm planning a weekend trip to [city] and want a simple two day itinerary. Include one relaxing activity and one more adventurous activity each day, plus a lunch and dinner suggestion for each day. Keep the pace easy, not packed back to back."

"I'm feeling overwhelmed by my to do list and need help prioritizing. Here's my list: [paste your list]. Sort it into what actually needs to happen today, what can wait until later this week, and what could probably be dropped or delegated altogether."
